Job Title: Consultant Geriatrician

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Consultant Geriatrician to join our team at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading clinical services, and contributing to the development of our geriatric medicine department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert clinical care to patients with complex geriatric needs
  • Lead and manage clinical services, including ward rounds, clinics, and multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and guidelines to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication
  • Contribute to the education and training of junior doctors and other healthcare staff
Person Specification:
  • MB ChB/MBBS or equivalent qualification
  • MRCP or equivalent qualification
  • CCT in Geriatric Medicine or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in General Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
