About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Childcare Trainer/Assessor to join our team at Dovetail & Slate | B Corp®. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment to our apprentices in Residential Children's Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the full apprenticeship standard, including Functional Skills, to a caseload of apprentices
  • Support, coach, and mentor apprentices through their apprenticeship qualification
  • Work with a hybrid model, combining remote support with face-to-face visits
  • Utilize modern technology to streamline admin tasks and enhance the learning experience

Requirements:

  • Solid occupational competence in a Management role within the Residential Childcare sector
  • Hold a minimum Level 5 Residential Children's related qualification
  • Functional Skills L2
  • Ideally hold either a recognised Assessors qualification (A1, TAQA, CAVA etc) OR a recognised teacher qualification
