About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at LMP Group. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Classroom Teacher(s) to facilitate the active participation and engagement of children in their learning.
  • Contribute to raising the standards of achievements for all pupils while promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons they are responsible for, or come into contact with.
  • Assist in maintaining student assessment records and contribute to reports on pupil progress and development as directed.
  • Monitor and track progress against pupils' EHCP outcomes and targets, providing feedback as required.
  • Contribute to planning and evaluation, and organize the learning environment and develop classroom resources.
  • Undertake general administrative support activities, such as photocopying, display, and resource preparation.
  • Support the delivery of the school curriculum and provide additional support for students as required.
  • Respond to pupils' individual needs by delivering appropriate activities and interventions, and adapt the curriculum as necessary.
  • Develop effective working relationships and maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Participate fully in procedures for Performance Management and Review, and be responsible for their professional development and training.
  • Attend and actively participate in staff meetings, and support and contribute to the development of other Teaching Assistants.
  • Assist in facilitating school events and attend 3 training days per year.
Requirements
  • GCSE or equivalent (Functional skills) English (Grade 4) essential.
  • GCSE or equivalent (Functional skills) Maths (Grade 4) essential.
