Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant - SEN Support

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a HLTA, you will work closely with teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons, provide individual and small group support, and contribute to the overall positive ethos of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Assist in the planning and preparation of lessons, ensuring that they are engaging and tailored to the needs of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Small Group Interventions: Lead small group interventions and classroom activities, promoting social interaction and learning among students.
  • SEN Support: Support students with SEN, providing individualized support and accommodations to ensure their inclusion and success in the classroom.
  • Classroom Management: Contribute to the creation of a safe and inclusive learning environment, managing classroom activities and ensuring that students are engaged and motivated.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • HLTA Qualification: Hold a Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • SEN Experience: Have experience working in a school environment, supporting students with Special Educational Needs.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with teachers, students, and parents.
  • Classroom Management: Demonstrate the ability to manage and support classroom activities effectively, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
