Job Summary
Required as soon as possible - Level 1/2 Teaching Assistant. This is a term-time only role - up to 30 hours per week with additional Midday Supervisor contract. Monday to Friday, core school hours are between 8.30am and 3.30pm. Salary: £15,528 - £16,591 (Actual Salary per year) Meridian Trust, Grades 4-5 (Level 1/2 Teaching Assistant).

You will be part of a friendly and welcoming team, working to provide a high-quality education for our students. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting teachers in the classroom, preparing teaching resources, and assisting with midday supervision. You will also have the opportunity to use your skills and experience to make a real difference in the lives of our students.

Requirements
  • GCSE English & Mathematics Grade C (4/5) or above or equivalent
  • Experience of supporting children in Key Stages One or Two
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to work well in a team
  • Understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues
