Position Overview: We are seeking an Advanced Teaching Assistant to contribute to a dynamic Primary School environment in the Cambridgeshire region. This role involves both traditional teaching assistant duties and higher-level responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver classroom instruction and cover for teachers during planning periods.
  • Provide individualized support to students, particularly those with specific educational needs.
  • Assist in managing classroom behavior and promoting a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Facilitate small group activities to enhance student engagement and understanding.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • HLTA Status or equivalent qualifications.
  • Proven experience in classroom management and pupil support.
  • Familiarity with supporting students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP).
  • Ability to work with students exhibiting Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.
  • Reliable transportation to commute to the school.
