Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of pupils in a Primary School setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality support to teachers and pupils in the classroom, including lesson planning and delivery.
  • Assist with the management of pupil behavior, including 1:1 support and small group work.
  • Support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including those with EHCPs.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Personalized Learning Plans (PLPs).
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
  • Provide administrative support to the school, including data management and record-keeping.

Requirements:

  • HLTA Status or equivalent qualifications and experience.
  • Proven experience of working with pupils with SEND, including those with EHCPs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
