Property Management Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Property Management Officer to join our team at Richmond and Wandsworth Councils. As a key member of our Property Management Team, you will be responsible for ensuring that properties used for homeless families are suitable and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of properties used for homeless families, ensuring they meet health and safety standards.
- Respond to repair issues promptly, with a focus on eliminating damp and mold.
- Build strong relationships with service users, private landlords, and other stakeholders.
- Proactively seek solutions to issues raised, often on-site or in the office.
- Undertake health and safety inspections to ensure properties are safe for residents.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to listen and support vulnerable individuals.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple cases.
- Basic knowledge of property management, with a willingness to learn and develop.
- Ability to work independently, motivated, and put people first.
- Commitment to maintaining and improving the quality of services provided.
