Detailed Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise an administrative team member, including conducting appraisals, providing supervision, and facilitating training and development for Band 3 staff.
  • Allocate and oversee administrative tasks effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Line Manager to lead the implementation and proactive management of new processes and initiatives.
  • Manage the word processing of all necessary correspondence, reports, and summaries required by the team.
  • Handle diary management for clinicians and/or managers as needed.
  • Organize clinics and associated appointments efficiently.
  • Input and update service user information and team activity in computerized information systems, creating service user notes as necessary and in accordance with policy.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

  • Educated to GCE/GCSE (A-C grades, including English) or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to demonstrate and evidence continuous professional development.

  • Willingness to travel and work across various Trust sites as required.

  • Experience in staff supervision and management.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to service improvement initiatives.
