Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Community Manager to enhance our community engagement efforts. This role is pivotal in fostering relationships within our diverse gaming community and ensuring their needs are met effectively. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our Community & Support lead.

Work Structure

This position operates on a hybrid model, requiring in-office presence on designated days while allowing remote work on others. Our organization embraces a 4-day work week, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison for community members across various platforms, including forums and social media.
  • Facilitate outreach to new mod authors, encouraging them to contribute to our platform.
  • Provide insights from the community perspective to internal teams, aiding in the development of our services.
  • Oversee content moderation processes, addressing reports and high-profile issues effectively.
  • Monitor community dynamics, ensuring a vibrant and inclusive environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in community management or a related field.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in challenging situations.
  • Experience in managing large online communities and moderating content.
  • Strong conflict resolution abilities and a keen understanding of social dynamics.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with the modding community and relevant platforms.
  • Experience in creating and releasing mods.
  • A passion for gaming and a sense of humor.
