Position Overview

Reporting to the Community & Support lead, this role is based in our Exeter office. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK. Our organization operates on a 4-day work week, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison for users across various platforms, including forums and support channels.
  • Expand the Nexus Mods community by engaging with mod authors from unrepresented games.
  • Provide insights from the community perspective to internal teams to enhance platform development.
  • Oversee content moderation processes, ensuring compliance with community standards.
  • Manage and support the moderation team, facilitating recruitment and training as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Community Management or similar roles.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to handle conflict with professionalism and impartiality.
  • Experience working with large online communities and a strong understanding of moderation practices.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Nexus Mods and its operational guidelines.
  • Experience in modding and understanding of asset permissions.
  • A passion for gaming and a sense of humor.
