Position Overview

The Community Engagement Specialist will report to the Community & Support lead and will play a pivotal role in managing our diverse user base. This position is office-based, requiring a right to work in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary contact for users across various platforms, including forums and support channels.
  • Facilitate the growth of our community by reaching out to mod authors and encouraging their participation.
  • Provide insights from the community perspective to internal teams, ensuring user needs are met in platform development.
  • Oversee moderation efforts, including managing reports and maintaining community standards.
  • Identify and address potential fraudulent activities within the community.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in community management or a related field.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to remain composed and professional in challenging situations.
  • Experience working with large online communities and a strong understanding of moderation practices.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent conflict resolution skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with modding communities and the Nexus Mods platform.
  • Experience in creating and releasing mods.
  • A passion for gaming and a good sense of humor.
