Join Our Team as a Children's Residential Support Worker

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the well-being and development of vulnerable children and young people in a residential setting.

About the Role

As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential setting. Your primary focus will be on promoting their independence, well-being, and safety, while also providing emotional and practical support to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support children and young people in all day-to-day activities and interests
  • Promote independence and well-being through positive role modeling and guidance
  • Attend weekend activities, holidays, and trips to support children and young people in their interests
  • Provide emotional and practical support to children and young people in need
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of care plans and guidelines
Requirements
  • Desire to create positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people
  • Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
  • At least 6 months' experience of working with children or in a similar social care setting
  • Valid UK driving license
  • Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
  • Right to work in the UK
