Children Support Worker

Support Children and Young People in Residential Setting
Vetro Recruitment is recruiting Support Workers for a Children's Residential Home in Tewksbury. As a Support Worker, you will be part of a small team providing 2:1 support to children and young people in a residential setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children and young people with daily activities and interests
- Promote independence and wellbeing
- Attend weekend activities and trips with the children and young people
- Provide emotional and practical support to the young people
- Ensure the safety of young people by maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of care plans and guidelines
Requirements:
- At least 6 months experience working with children or in a similar social care setting
- Valid UK driving licence
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or are willing to obtain one
- The right to work in the UK
