About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our team at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHSFT.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality clinical services to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Lead and manage a team of mental health professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of mental health services, including policy development, service improvement, and research.

Requirements
  • Doctoral level qualification in Clinical Psychology or Counselling Psychology.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience of working in a mental health setting, with a strong understanding of clinical governance and service improvement.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
