About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Assistant Psychologist to join our Home Based Treatment Team in Salford. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with our Clinical Psychologist to provide high-quality, evidence-based care to individuals with mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with assessments, interventions, and evaluations under the supervision of our Clinical Psychologist.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of treatment plans, ensuring a comprehensive and person-centered approach.
  • Collaborate with our team to provide psychological support and guidance to individuals, families, and carers.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and improvement of our services, ensuring they meet the needs of our service users.

Requirements
  • A Upper Second Class Degree conferring entitlement to graduate membership of the British Psychological Society (BPS).
  • Experience of working with people with mental health difficulties, preferably in a community care setting.
  • Experience of working under supervision, with a strong understanding of the importance of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals, families, and carers.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
