The Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistants to support our growing team. As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of pupils with diverse needs. You will collaborate closely with teachers and staff to provide individualized support, ensuring each child can access the curriculum and achieve their best.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and delivering engaging lessons, adapting resources and strategies to meet the unique requirements of students with SEND.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to pupils, reinforcing learning and managing behavior effectively.
  • Nurture pupils' social and emotional development, helping them build self-esteem and confidence.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor and record pupils' progress, providing valuable feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel safe, supported, and valued.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in special educational needs.

About You

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient nature with a genuine passion for supporting children with SEND.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration as part of a team.
