About the Role

Priory Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Priory Hospital Bristol. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our patients with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist qualified healthcare professionals with the delivery of care and support to patients
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, promoting a sense of well-being and dignity
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and therapeutic environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Flexibility and willingness to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Basic knowledge of mental health principles and practices
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
