Job Description

Job Title: Mental Health Professional - Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mental Health Professional to join our team as a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health needs in a community setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and develop care plans for individuals with mental health needs
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to promote mental health and well-being
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks
  • Provide education and support to individuals, families, and carers

Requirements:

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse with a valid NMC registration
  • Experience working in a community mental health setting
  • Strong assessment and care planning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
