Job Title: Aerodynamic Performance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerodynamic Performance Specialist to join our team at Genesis Oil and Gas Consultants. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating CFD personnel, ensuring satisfactory performance, and being responsible for CFD content and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform CFD simulations and assist in the performance of engineering studies.
  • Run proprietary software (e.g. CFX) or in-house developed software.
  • Produce technical notes for reporting of study results.
  • Lead and coordinate discipline personnel assigned to a project.
  • Ensure that the project scope of work, design basis, philosophies, standards, and procedures are known, understood, and implemented by the discipline personnel assigned to the project.
  • Direct and monitor the execution of work about the content and quality of all documentation within the discipline's scope of work.
  • Participate in all directive activities, including preparation and checking documents, specifications, procedures, standards, data sheets, etc.
  • Travel as required to support the activities listed above.
Requirements:
  • Relevant Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Significant experience, mostly in the upstream oil & gas business in a CFD leadership role.
  • Good computer literacy with particular competence in MS Office software.
  • Full command of the English language, written and spoken.
