Job Summary:
The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for the daily management of the food and beverage outlets at Hilton Garden Inn Bristol City Centre, ensuring that the highest standards of food and beverage service are provided to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and direct the overall Food and Beverage operation, administration, marketing, and promotion of the outlet.
- Ensure the outlet's profitability and revenue generation.
- Prepare weekly and monthly forecasts for restaurant, bar, and room service.
- Ensure constant liaison with the Head Chef, Conference & Events Manager, and Operations Manager.
- Manage and maintain control measures to ensure that food and beverage costs, productivity, labor costs, and operating supply costs for the outlet are in line with budget.
- Analyze and submit month-end reports and identify deviations from business plan goals.
- Participate in management meetings to review progress towards achievement of business plan goals and develop the annual business plan related to the outlet.
- Plan, implement, and measure profit enhancement programs by working with the kitchen and sales department.
- Prepare and submit post-mortem promotion reports to the General Manager upon completion of promotion.
Requirements:
- Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Ability to plan budgets and review forecasts for revenue and expenditure on a monthly basis.
- Ability to analyze and submit month-end reports and identify deviations from business plan goals.
- Ability to participate in management meetings to review progress towards achievement of business plan goals and develop the annual business plan related to the outlet.
