Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for internationally educated paramedics to join the South Central Ambulance Service NHS team.

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to provide vital patient support in a variety of settings, including urban and rural areas.

As a paramedic with our organization, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, with access to ongoing training and development opportunities.

Main Duties of the Job

Our relocation package includes:

  • Fully funded pre-paid flights

  • 10 weeks of free shared accommodation

Detailed Job Description and Main Responsibilities

We are looking for individuals who possess:

  • A recognized Paramedic Qualification
  • The ability to register with the Health Care Professions Council or have already obtained registration
  • In-country Police Clearance
  • A current full Driving Licence
  • An in-date and valid Passport

The starting salary is £28,407-£34,581, rising to £35,392-£42,618 following transfer to practice/preceptorship, plus unsocial hours enhancement boosting your income by around 17%.

Overtime is available at time and a half.

Person SpecificationEssential Criteria
  • Paramedic Degree or due to qualify
  • Hold valid in-date passport with at least 6 months before expiry
  • Pre-hospital care experience
