This is an exciting opportunity to join the South Central Ambulance Service NHS as an International Paramedic. We are seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to provide emergency medical care to patients in the UK.
Main DutiesAs an International Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing prehospital care to patients in emergency situations. This will involve working as part of a team to assess patients, provide medical treatment, and transport them to hospital for further care.
Relocation PackageWe offer a comprehensive relocation package to support your move to the UK. This includes fully funded pre-paid flights, a fully funded Certificate of Sponsorship, reimbursement of visa and HCPC scrutiny fees, police check, and in-country health check. You will also receive 10 weeks of free shared accommodation, up to 10 weeks of shared car hire, and 6 weeks of comprehensive conversion course with our dedicated international education team.
Working for Our OrganisationAs a member of our team, you will have access to a range of benefits, including 27 days annual leave rising to 29 after 5 years, plus 8 bank holidays. You will also be enrolled in the NHS Pension Scheme and have access to health and wellbeing guidance, including mental health and physical health support.
Person SpecificationWe are looking for individuals who possess a recognised Paramedic qualification, are in a position to register with the Health Care Professions Council, and have a current full driving licence. You will also need to have a valid in-date passport with at least 6 months before expiry.
