We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our team at Travail Employment Group - Burgess Hill. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our finance director and assisting with various financial tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable
- Process purchase orders and manage internal enquiries from operations team
- Work with a varied ledger including international suppliers
- Accounts Receivable
- Process sales invoices in Sage and produce credit control reports
- Work with sales team on collections
- Reconciliations
- Perform multi-currency reconciliations and post card payments
- General Finance Administration
- Assist with month end and year end processes
- Update financial information daily and run frequent reports
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with some experience in a finance position, who is detail-oriented and has great organizational skills. You will be a cheerful and confident communicator who is comfortable with picking up new IT systems. Good experience in Excel is a plus.
