Child Health Specialist

About the Role
The Child, Adolescent & Family Mental Health Service (North Community & Outreach Team) is a specialist mental health service that provides assessment and treatment of young people up to 18 years of age who present with serious mental health problems, and their families/whānau.
We are seeking a NZ Registered Psychologist with a PostGraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology or Child and Family Psychology to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive clinical assessment, psychometric testing, and therapeutic interventions individually or in groups as part of a multidisciplinary team.
About You
In this role, you will work collaboratively with young people, family/whānau, community and statutory organisations to provide high-quality mental health services. The clinicians on the Team have a range of skills and areas of clinical expertise who are committed and work hard for young people living in Christchurch and across Canterbury.
Travel is required for Outreach clinics. Specialist Mental Health Services are an interdisciplinary team that forms part of Health NZ | Te Whatu Ora - Canterbury | Waitaha.
