About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team at Babcock International Group. As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering complex engineering projects and programmes, working closely with senior leaders and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end delivery throughout the project lifecycle, including requirement capture, scoping, technical and commercial solutions, and pricing models.
  • Manage risk effectively to minimize business exposure and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Apply effective change management to balance flexibility with robust commercial agreements.
  • Define acceptance criteria for contracted deliverables and produce professional handover documentation.
  • Identify and apply lessons learned for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Considerable experience in project management, preferably in a technical project environment.
  • Experience working in the Defence and Security sector is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct project staff.
  • Excellent financial management skills to ensure high profitability on projects.

Security Clearance

This role is subject to national security vetting, and the successful candidate must be able to satisfy Ministry of Defence security requirements, including having Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance in place.
