About the RoleThis is an exceptional opportunity to lead and be at the forefront of a new phase of business growth, bringing new products to market for a market-leading business. As a key member of a newly created team, you will be tasked with generating accelerated growth by leveraging new investment technologies and introducing new products into the market.
Key Responsibilities- You will work closely with the Operations and Technical teams to understand emerging customer and market trends, identifying opportunities for new business development and pipeline generation.
- With a focus on new business development, you will be responsible for winning and managing customers with excellence, driving revenue growth and building sustainable long-term partnerships.
- Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be accountable for raising the value of the international revenue stream, particularly in international markets where most revenues are generated directly or via a Distributor network.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be an outright sales hunter with a proven track record of new business development success in Industrial/Plastics or Chemicals markets, preferably across international geographies. You will be a strategic, solution-based sales professional with a talent for developing and winning partnerships, and a relentless drive to develop, secure, and win new customer or Distributor acquisitions.
You will have experience in a technically led industry with a sales cycle of several months, and a business development background gained from an entrepreneurial, intelligent environment. You will be able to demonstrate ownership of new business wins in a global marketplace.
