As a Senior Planning Lawyer, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of legal advice and support in relation to planning matters, including development management, planning policy, and community infrastructure levy work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise a team of lawyers and legal officers, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
  • Provide expert advice on complex planning matters, including planning appeals and judicial reviews, and represent the council at planning committee meetings and hearings.
  • Develop and implement planning policies and strategies to support the council's development plans and objectives.
