Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Literacy Support Specialist (Level 3) for a primary educational institution in Leyland. This establishment has received a 'Good' rating from Ofsted, and serves a diverse student population, benefiting from smaller class sizes.
Working Hours: 08:45 – 15:45, Monday to Friday (term-time only).
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating lessons for small groups of students in accordance with the school's literacy framework. The primary objective is to enhance student performance in literacy while also assisting with reading and writing across the curriculum.
Comprehensive training on the literacy framework will be provided; however, a strong understanding of phonics instruction is essential.
Applicants must possess a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in a relevant educational field, such as education-related degrees. Graduates in English are also encouraged to apply.

All quoted pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the possibility of a permanent role in the future.
