Year 3 Teaching Assistant

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a dedicated and flexible Teaching Assistant to join their team at a two-form entry primary school in Leyland. The successful candidate will work in a Year 3 class, supporting the teacher and students in a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support the teacher in planning and delivering lessons to students in Year 3
- Assist with the management of classroom behavior and ensure a safe and respectful learning environment
- Provide individual support to students with varying levels of ability, including those with special educational needs
- Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement effective strategies for student learning and progress
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Recent experience working with children in an educational setting or as a support worker
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the school and students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teachers, students, and parents
