Job Description:

Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Location: Leyland, Lancashire

Job Type: Temporary

Hours: 6.5 hours per day, 08:30 to 15:30

Rate of Pay: £12.90-£13.50 per hour

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Good school in Leyland. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lesson content and Maths & English Booster sessions to small groups and whole class groups in Year 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lesson content and Maths & English Booster sessions
  • Gain experience of delivering to small groups and whole class groups in Year 3 and 4
  • Work closely with class teachers to plan a structured working week
  • Liaise with class teachers to discuss progress and plan for the following week
  • Ensure children are engaged and make progress

Requirements:

  • Level 4 qualification in teaching or a related field
  • Experience of delivering to children in the Upper Ks1 and Lower KS2 year groups
  • Good level of Maths and English
  • Ability to deliver guidance to a high standard
