Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a good Ofsted-rated school in the Leyland area. The successful candidate will work closely with a KS2 student in a mainstream classroom setting, providing support and guidance to help them manage their behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to students struggling with behaviour management
  • Work with the school SENCO to develop behaviour support plans
  • Assist with pastoral interventions for SEN and SEMH students
  • Support the delivery of the KS2 curriculum and phonics schemes
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working with SEN students and transferable skills
  • Knowledge of safeguarding requirements and procedures
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build relationships with students and staff
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced school environment

What We Offer:

  • PAYE rates of £13.50 per hour
  • Weekly pay through school timesheets
  • Located in the PR25 area of Leyland
  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday
  • Immediate start following registration with Teaching Personnel
