We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a good Ofsted-rated school in the Leyland area.
The successful candidate will work closely with a KS2 student in a mainstream classroom setting, providing individualized support and implementing behaviour management strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide 1:1 support to students with challenging behaviour
- Collaborate with the school SENCO to develop behaviour support plans
- Work with the student to develop their social and emotional skills
- Support the student in accessing the KS2 curriculum
- Experience working with students with SEN and SEMH needs
- Ability to work effectively in a team and build relationships with students and staff
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and phonics schemes
- PAYE rates of £13.50 per hour
- Weekly pay through school timesheets
- Opportunity to work with a passionate and dedicated team
