Bar Service Associate - Roehampton Club
Reporting to the Bar Manager
Casual part-time hours including day, evening, and weekend shifts
Compensation: £12.25 per hour
Roehampton Club is a distinguished private member multisport facility located in southwest London, offering a diverse range of sports such as golf, tennis, and squash, along with comprehensive catering services, all maintained to the highest standards.
Role Overview:
The primary objective is to assist in the daily operations of the Food & Beverage Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional member satisfaction by adopting a proactive and positive service approach.
- Maintain established standards for all aspects of Food & Beverage service and cleanliness.
- Ensure compliance with club service protocols and cleanliness guidelines.
- Provide Food & Beverage service while actively promoting upselling opportunities, adhering to the club's service procedures.
- Perform essential bar operations including inventory management, stock rotation, and preparation tasks.
- Participate in daily pre-shift meetings to review upcoming events, special requests, and product enhancements.
- Regularly clean and inspect storage areas and service rooms.
- Process cash transactions and payments in line with club policies.
- Adhere to all relevant fire, health, safety, and security regulations.
- Engage in departmental meetings to contribute to team discussions.
Ideal Candidate Attributes:
- Previous experience in a bar setting.
- Friendly demeanor with a professional appearance.
- Strong time management abilities.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to take initiative.
- Comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations and hygiene standards.
