Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Nursing Home Operations Manager to join our team at Willing Care Recruitment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supporting our nursing homes across the region and working closely with our Operations Manager to ensure compliance, implement policies, and provide mentoring to staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support and Mentor Care Home Managers and Staff: Provide guidance and support to care home managers and staff to ensure a productive and supportive environment.
  2. Oversee Financial Performance and Budgeting: Monitor and manage the financial performance of our nursing homes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing strategies to minimize risks.
  3. Ensure Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that all relevant legislations and internal and external regulations are met, and implement strategies to minimize risks and ensure a safe and supportive environment for residents.
  4. Maintain High Standards of Care: Continuously monitor and improve care delivery to ensure a safe and supportive environment for residents, while maintaining high standards of care.
  5. Establish Systems for Monitoring and Reporting: Develop and implement systems to monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and outcomes, ensuring that our nursing homes are operating efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

  1. RGN or RMN Qualification: Hold a valid RGN or RMN qualification with an active NMC Pin.
  2. Proven Experience: Have proven experience in managing a care home, delivering positive outcomes and improving care delivery.
  3. Strong Clinical Knowledge: Possess strong clinical knowledge and the ability to provide evidence-based care.
  4. Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
  5. Understanding of Regulatory Requirements: Have a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in nurse management.
