We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Superintendent to join our team at Altrad Sparrows. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the delivery of safe and effective cable and pipelay system projects.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support and supervision to onshore support teams and site-based technicians in relation to operation and maintenance activities.
- Support operations and maintenance of cable and pipelay systems to the highest standards, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Set standards and expectations for project planning and delivery, and ensure site-based technicians follow established procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to business development teams, project controls, and engineering teams.
- Lead by example in adopting a continuous improvement attitude towards operations and maintenance execution and delivery.
- Complete operations and maintenance audits to ensure standards are met, and lead After Action Reviews and Root Cause Analysis to identify areas for improvement.
- Interface with internal and external clients to ensure a professional service is provided.
- Significant experience in cable and pipelay systems, with adequate onshore engineering experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols, with a commitment to promoting a safe working environment.
