Position Overview:

As the centralized Reservations Coordinator for Chotto Matte UK, you will oversee all incoming reservation requests and inquiries for our locations. Collaborating closely with our Sales & Events Manager and on-site Reception teams, proficiency in reservation management systems is essential, along with relevant experience in the hospitality sector.

This part-time position will involve working between our Head Office and restaurant locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms in a timely and professional manner.
  • Effectively manage the reservation system to optimize seating capacity and enhance table turnover.
  • Establish strong relationships with guests, recognizing their preferences and special requests to deliver personalized service.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with returning guests.
  • Coordinate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth communication and execution of all reservations.
  • Keep accurate records of reservations and guest details.
  • Address guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism, aiming to exceed expectations at every opportunity.

Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Understanding of restaurant operations and guest relations.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow instructions.
  • Capable of performing well under pressure.
  • Demonstrate reliability, courtesy, and promptness.
  • Prior experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, ideally in a high-end restaurant setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with guests and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with reservation management software and basic computer proficiency.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing outstanding service.
