Position Overview:

As the central Reservations Coordinator for Chotto Matte UK, you will oversee all incoming reservation requests and inquiries for our UK locations. Collaborating closely with our Sales & Events manager and onsite Reception teams, proficiency in reservation management systems is essential, along with relevant experience in the hospitality sector.

This part-time role will involve working from our central office and our restaurant locations, requiring flexibility in your schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms in a timely and professional manner.
  • Efficiently manage the reservation system to maximize seating capacity and enhance table turnover.
  • Foster strong relationships with guests, recognizing their preferences and special requests to deliver personalized service.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with returning guests.
  • Coordinate with the front-of-house team to ensure effective communication and execution of all reservations.
  • Keep accurate records of reservations and guest information.
  • Address guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism, striving to exceed expectations at every opportunity.

Requirements:

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Understanding of restaurant operations and guest relations.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow instructions effectively.
  • Capability to perform well under pressure.
  • Dependable, courteous, and prompt.
  • Prior experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, ideally in a high-end restaurant setting.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with guests and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in reservation management software and basic computer skills.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
