Position Overview:

As the centralized Reservations Coordinator for Chotto Matte UK, you will oversee all incoming reservation requests and inquiries for our UK locations. Collaborating closely with our Sales & Events Manager and on-site Reception teams, proficiency in reservation management systems is essential, along with relevant experience in the hospitality sector.

This is a part-time position based between our Head Office and restaurant locations.

Availability: Weekend availability is required, with flexibility in shift patterns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to incoming reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms in a timely and professional manner.
  • Effectively manage the reservation system to optimize seating capacity and enhance table turnover.
  • Establish strong relationships with guests, understanding their preferences and special requests to deliver personalized service.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with returning guests.
  • Coordinate with the front-of-house team to ensure clear communication and execution of all reservations.
  • Keep accurate records of reservations and guest information.
  • Address guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism, striving to exceed expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Understanding of restaurant operations and guest relations.
  • Ability to multitask and follow instructions effectively.
  • Capable of working efficiently under pressure.
  • Demonstrate punctuality, courtesy, and reliability.
  • Prior experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a high-end dining environment.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with guests and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in reservation management software and basic computer skills.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
