Join a Leading Charity in Substance Misuse Treatment

A prestigious Community Drug and Alcohol Misuse Charity is seeking a Senior Nurse specializing in Substance Misuse to become part of their dedicated team at a specialist clinic.

This role presents a remarkable opportunity for a Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) who is committed to the field of Substance Misuse treatment and recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be engaged in a dynamic detoxification environment, focusing on delivering essential clinical care to clients, which includes a comprehensive rehabilitation process.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in administering vaccinations, including Blood-Borne Virus (BBV) screening and Hepatitis B/C screening.
  • Expertise in Health Promotion and Rehabilitation.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience at Band 6 / Band 7 level (or equivalent).
  • Current and valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and eligibility to work in the UK.

While prior experience in addiction services is not mandatory, candidates should demonstrate a genuine interest in this nursing specialty and illustrate how they have developed relevant skills and knowledge in Drug and Alcohol Recovery Services.
