Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Substance Misuse Recovery Specialist to join our team in the West Midlands Region. As a key member of our Recovery Hub team, you will have the opportunity to bring your advanced nursing skills to an organization dedicated to making a difference in people's lives.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for providing individualized packages of care to patients with substance misuse issues. You will work collaboratively with general practice teams across sites to deliver high-quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive assessments and recovery planning for patients with substance misuse issues
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to support patients in achieving their recovery goals
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide education and training on substance misuse and recovery

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary up to £49,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a comprehensive induction program, including our Introducing Health in Justice training course, and access to our bespoke Learning Management System to support your professional development.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse Adult or Mental Health with current NMC registration
  • Independent/supplementary prescriber qualification and nurse prescribing
  • Experience of working with opiate-dependent patients
  • Experience working autonomously as a Non-Medical Prescriber
