We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Substance Misuse Recovery Specialist to join our team in the West Midlands Region. As a key member of our Recovery Hub team, you will have the opportunity to bring your advanced nursing skills to an organisation dedicated to making a difference to people's lives on a daily basis.

The Recovery Hub is a brand-new innovation aimed at enhancing the clinical support provided to our prisons and patient groups. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with the general practice teams across sites, providing individualised packages of care identified through comprehensive assessment and recovery planning.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday. You will receive an annual salary up to £49,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our bespoke induction programme includes our Introducing Health in Justice training course, and you will have access to a competency framework, regional and national career development opportunities, and our bespoke Learning Management System to address your learning needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualised packages of care identified through comprehensive assessment and recovery planning
  • Communicate and work collaboratively with the general practice teams across sites
  • Support the delivery of policy and procedures, and providing nurse education and leadership as required
  • Demonstrate all four pillars of advanced clinical practice

Qualifications and Experience

  • Registered Nurse Adult or Mental Health with current NMC registration
  • Independent/supplementary prescriber qualification and nurse prescribing
  • Experience of working with opiate-dependent patients
  • Experience working autonomously post-registration as a Non-Medical Prescriber
