About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our Substance Misuse Recovery Hub team within our West Midlands Region. As a Clinical Lead, you will play a key role in the delivery of practice nursing services and will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment/interventions for patients presenting with substance misuse issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a clinical leader in the delivery of practice nursing services
  • Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment/interventions for patients presenting with substance misuse issues
  • Prescribe and review medication for therapeutic effectiveness, appropriate to patients' needs
  • Share your experience and knowledge by being involved in the educational and professional development of the nursing team through clinical supervision sessions
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse Adult or Mental Health with current NMC registration
  • Independent/supplementary prescriber qualification and nurse prescribing
  • Clinical supervision training and experience
  • Significant experience working autonomously post-registration as a Non-Medical Prescriber
