About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training and Development Executive to join our team at Small Luxury Hotels of the World. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for creating and delivering high-quality training programs to support the development of our employees and hotel partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with various departments to maintain the hotelier extranet (mySLH.com) and ensure seamless integration with our digital services.
  • Support hotelier and staff queries related to the hotelier extranet and collaborate with our digital service provider to resolve issues.
  • Participate in weekly meetings with our web agency, take minutes, and follow up on action points.
  • Provide ongoing support for mySLH.com enhancements, testing new releases on staging and production.
  • Run reports and manage our client database in Salesforce CRM.
  • Create Salesforce triggered sends in Marketing Cloud Connect.
  • Set up access to distribution tools and the company conferencing tool for new employees and conduct introductory training sessions.
  • Audit the system monthly, troubleshoot, and remove inactive members.
  • Support embedded Tableau administration and update contacts within the entitlement table.
  • Assist with updating training guides and videos using Camtasia, PowerPoint, and Adobe Products.
  • Schedule, prepare, and host online webinars.
  • Proofread documents, training guides, and content pages.
  • Ensure all training materials have a consistent SLH branded format.
  • Assist the Head of Training Worldwide in producing dedicated training courses, training guides, and newsletters.
  • Develop and maintain sound knowledge of all SLH and hotel systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with SLH reservation system (SynXis CR) updates and enhancements by reviewing documentation.
  • Test new enhancements, create and update guides/webinars, and deliver training to employees and hotel members.

Requirements:

  • High degree of competency with adult learning concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to manage content, users, and upload content onto the CMS.
  • Familiarity with training methodologies.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Front of House customer service experience and/or Reservation & Revenue experience in the hotel industry is desired but not essential.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated with strong ability to self-manage.
  • Preferably qualified with a bachelor's degree and at least 3 years' experience in the hotel industry (preferably within the luxury sector).
  • Fluent in English and a second language preferable.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good knowledge of Salesforce desirable.
  • Excellent time and workload management skills; ability to prioritize.
  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic IT issues related to training tools.
  • Some travel may be required.

Working Environment:

Office-based (flexible working hours) in Victoria, London, UK.
