Job Overview

Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the strategic development of the Trust's capital programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the capital team, working closely with care groups and corporate functions to ensure adequate funding is provided to meet the long-term Trust objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive knowledge of procurement options, contract management, partnering, and joint venture. They will also have experience of managing a department and performance and work evaluation. A degree or diploma in line with key competencies in construction and contract management is essential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading the formation and delivery of the Trust's long-term capital plan
  • Providing leadership and direction to the capital team
  • Working closely with care groups and corporate functions to ensure adequate funding is provided
  • Managing a department and performance and work evaluation
