Role Purpose:
We are in search of a proficient Treasury Operations Manager to lead our Treasury Operations, which encompass payment execution, bank reconciliations, foreign exchange hedging, cash flow forecasting, trade finance, bank documentation, and project initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in treasury operations, exceptional leadership skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of designated team members within the Treasury Operations Team, ensuring timely and accurate completion of bank reconciliations, payment processing, and general ledger entries.
- Manage the release of trade finance instruments and address any supplier guarantee issues, escalating as necessary.
- Assist with internal and external audit requests.
- Prepare reports regarding balance sheet foreign exchange exposure and develop proposals accordingly.
- Supervise team activities to ensure adherence to timelines and key performance indicators.
- Contribute to the formulation, maintenance, and execution of policies and internal controls.
- Support cash flow forecasting and consolidation for European entities, collaborating with the Treasury Manager to identify significant variances.
- Handle bank administration and regulatory reporting as required.
- Assist the Treasury Manager with assigned projects within the Treasury function.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Relevant experience in a cross-border treasury environment.
- Fluent in business English; proficiency in a second European language is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Able to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure.
- Responsible for both team and individual contributions to achieve objectives.
- Preferred experience in people management.
- Capable of building strong internal and external relationships.
- Ambitious and eager to learn and grow professionally.
- Experience in operational import and export trade finance, including CAD, CAA, and documentary letters of credit is desirable.
- Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
Location and Travel:
This position is part of the European Shared Service Centre team, with a hybrid working model requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office. Additional travel will be minimal and limited to necessary visits to other company locations.
