About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to join our team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in reproductive medicine and be able to provide high-quality care to our patients.

The role will involve providing consultant labour suite cover, elective caesarean lists, ward rounds, maternity triage, assessment unit cover, and antenatal clinics. The successful candidate will also be expected to participate in a two-tier gynaecology on-call consultant rota, providing emergency gynaecology cover at the QMC campus and complex surgery support at City Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality obstetric and gynaecological care to patients
  • Participate in a two-tier gynaecology on-call consultant rota
  • Contribute to the development of our maternity services
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care
Requirements
  • CCST in General Obstetrics and Gynaecology
  • Experience in reproductive medicine
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
