We are seeking an experienced NHS Fixed Term Locum Consultant to join our team at one of the largest University Teaching Hospitals in the NHS. This role will involve providing consultant labour suite cover, elective caesarean lists, ward rounds, assessment unit cover, and antenatal clinics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consultant labour suite cover, including routine and emergency obstetrics
  • Lead elective caesarean lists and ward rounds
  • Contribute to assessment unit cover and antenatal clinics
  • Work collaboratively with a team of 44 Consultants, including 18 obstetric consultants, 18 gynaecologists, and 8 combined obstetrician and gynaecologists
Our Department

Our labour suite is associated with a level 3 Neonatal Unit, a dedicated obstetric anaesthetic service, and inpatient and outpatient obstetric services. We have a strong research presence in the department and are a leading Trust in national and international clinical trials.
