Purpose of the Role:

As CORE POWER continues to grow, the demand for IT support is increasing to ensure seamless business operations. We are also cognizant of the rising threat of cyber attacks and are committed to enhancing our capabilities to safeguard our data and digital infrastructure.

Position Overview:

CORE POWER is in search of a proactive and adept IT Manager to become a vital part of our dynamic team. You will oversee our IT infrastructure across multiple locations.

The IT Manager will extend support to all CORE POWER functions in utilizing and developing our IT framework. The ideal candidate will be someone who consistently seeks to enhance systems and is eager to take ownership of processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Cybersecurity Management

  • Establish and uphold robust cybersecurity protocols to safeguard company data and systems.
  • Monitor for potential security threats and respond to incidents promptly.
  • Conduct security assessments and propose enhancements.

Technical Assistance

  • Address IT support inquiries from employees swiftly.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network challenges.
  • Provide clear guidance to end-users.

Procurement of Software and Hardware

  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to identify and acquire IT hardware and software solutions.
  • Assess and recommend technology solutions that align with the organization's requirements and budget.

User Education

  • Deliver training to employees on the effective use of IT systems and tools.
  • Promote a culture of IT best practices within the organization.

Documentation Maintenance

  • Create and sustain comprehensive and current documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
  • Develop user manuals and documentation for common IT tasks.

System Upkeep

Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure the stability and performance of IT systems.

Update and patch operating systems, software applications, and security measures.

  • Network Management

Oversee and optimize network infrastructure to guarantee reliable and secure connectivity.

Troubleshoot network issues and implement necessary improvements.

  • Compliance Assurance

Ensure IT systems and practices adhere to relevant regulations and standards.

Stay updated on industry-specific compliance requirements and implement necessary adjustments.

  • Collaborative Efforts

Work collaboratively with external vendors for project execution and issue resolution.

Assist in planning and executing IT projects to support organizational objectives.

IT System Development

  • Proactively explore methods to better integrate our existing IT infrastructure.
  • Work towards enhancing CORE POWER's instances of Monday, Egnyte, and HubSpot to better align with our needs.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.

Competencies:

Functional Expertise

  • Proficient in IT troubleshooting and problem-solving, with the capability to manage technical issues effectively.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, including the ability to implement and sustain security measures.
  • Familiarity with network administration and the capacity to manage and optimize network infrastructure.
  • Experience with data backup and recovery strategies, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime.
  • Ability to create and maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems and procedures.

Operational Expertise

  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to collaborate with external vendors and assist in planning and executing IT projects.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific compliance requirements, regulations, and standards.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues and vendors to achieve IT objectives.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for staying informed about emerging IT trends and technologies.

Leadership Skills

  • While this role may not involve formal leadership, a willingness to take initiative and assume additional responsibilities as CORE POWER continues to grow.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members, employees, and external vendors.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing IT needs and challenges.
  • Experience with issues relating to HubSpot and Egnyte is advantageous but not required.
