Si Recruitment Limited is seeking a dedicated Payroll Administrator to enhance our team in Whitby. Our firm prides itself on a modern approach combined with traditional values, providing a supportive environment for our employees.
Role Overview:
The Payroll Administrator will work in our Whitby office, operating Monday to Friday from 9am to 5:30pm, with a one-hour lunch break. This role is ideal for an individual with substantial payroll experience, joining a dynamic team of 16 professionals.
The key responsibilities include:
- Managing monthly, weekly, and four-weekly payrolls of varying sizes.
- Processing over 200 payrolls monthly using Sage Payroll software.
- Reviewing and verifying payroll inputs for accuracy.
- Submitting payroll data to HMRC.
- Handling all payroll-related elements, including court orders and student loans.
- Administering auto-enrollment pension deductions and issuing relevant letters to employees.
- Responding to payroll inquiries from clients promptly and professionally.
- Ensuring the highest standards of data accuracy and output quality.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a payroll role.
- Experience with payroll, CIS, and Nest.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- A proven track record of delivering excellent client service.
- Flexibility and proactivity in managing multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in IT, particularly Excel.
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- The ability to demonstrate initiative in problem-solving.
